Ben is my eldest son and Jake was our family black labrador. Ben & Jakes luxury dog treats all started when Jake became seriously ill and nearly died after contracting pancreatitis. When Jake finally came home from the vets we were told to keep him on a very strict diet and that your average dog treats were out of the question. This is what prompted Ben to start making Jake homemade healthy low fat dog treats so we knew what was in them and could choose healthy ingredients. Jake went on to surpass all expectation living until the ripe old age of 15.

Word spread about Ben’s gourmet low fat dog Treats and Ben started making healthy dog treats for friends and relatives dogs. Owners and dogs alike loved the homemade dog treats and wanted to be able to purchase them regularly. Hence Ben & Jakes was born! We know your dog is a member of the family and that you want them to have the best, that's why we only use good quality ingredients locally sourced where possible.
